Most types of musculoskeletal conditions, both acute or chronic can be treated, such as aches and pains from everyday life or injuries that may have occurred during physical activity.
If you are concerned about other health problems, they can be discussed and an appropriate management plan can be put in place, such as osteopathic treatment or referral to the right professionals.Frequesn
A mixture of functional and mechanical manual therapy techniques as well as evidence-based exercises. I also use osteopathic manipulation techniques, Muscle energy techniques, stretching, sports massage and dry needling to help treat your problems. If there is a specific treatment that you are not comfortable with, I will endeavour to find a different treatment option for you.
The very first appointment consists of a Case History, where we will discuss your general health and events leading to your current issue. This will be followed by a physical exam and a working diagnosis and treatment. From there we will devise the most appropriate management plan to help in your recovery, taking into consideration your history, lifestyle, and activities.
Initial appointments usually last between 45-60 minutes.
Follow up sessions start with an update regarding your progress, followed by any re-examinations and treatment.
Follow up appointments last between 30-40min.
